Pastor - Ted White
Bro. Ted White was saved in Brookston Texas when he was 12 years old, and was called to the ministry at 17. Ted earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from East Texas State University in Commerce, now Texas A & M Commerce. He attended seminary at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth.
Ted has served as pastor of Lakeview since July of 2002. He is married to Carol and they have three adult children, Candice, Brian, and Holly and four grandchildren, Preston, Kaylee, Blake, and Trey. They enjoy spending time with family. They also enjoy traveling, gardening, and most sports events. They know that they are blessed to do so many things together including their service for the Lord.
Music Minister - Marcus Appleton
Marcus and his wife Colleen and their two children Matthew and Rachel, came to Lakeview in 1987. In 1988 he became the music leader. He has completed music leadership classes thru the Southern Baptist Cooperative summer programs at Baylor, as well as four years of guitar and music theory courses in Longview. He serves as a bi-vocational minister at Lakeview while working full time at Eastman Chemical.

Youth Minister - Lou Ozan
Lou Ozan came to Longview from Kirbyville, Texas and is a graduate of ETBU. He accepted Christ as his Savior when he was 16 years old in his driveway and two years later was licensed in the ministry by Trout Creek Baptist Church on July 31. While attending ETBU, he felt the Lord calling him to youth ministry. He worked with Kids Club for 5 years to help nurture what the Lord had called him to. He is thoroughly enjoying leading our Youth into a deeper walk with the Lord!
Administrative Ministry Assistant - Emily Dunshee
Emily was saved at the age of 16 on a youth mission trip. From that point, God has changed her life of complacency to a life of passion and her attitude of bitterness to an attitude of praise. She has a heart and a calling on her life to minister to the women around her and is in love with her Redeemer.
She is a wife to Warren and a mom to Eli and Emma and currently serves Lakeview as an administrative ministry assistant.
Pianist - Pam Aguilar
Pam – Native of Longview Texas, accepted Christ as her personal Savior at the tender age of 7. At age 11, she began playing piano for Grace Baptist Church where her daddy pastored and her sister accompanied on the organ. Her mama always told her to “sing louder” and “go to church”. For 40 plus years Pam has sang and or played the piano for services all over the East Texas Area. In 2009, she produced her first CD, “It’s All About Him” of which proceeds were donated to the Lakeview Baptist Church Building Fund. Over the past 30 years, Pam has written many songs during her time of service at Lakeview. As she plays and sings, it is her desire that the presence of the Holy Spirit will be ushered in and stir hearts to join in worshiping our Lord and Savior. She and her husband Rodrigo “Chequi” Aguilar, have 3 amazing children and are La La and Dadoo to 5 wonderful grandchildren.
Treasurer - Stephanie Bennett
Stephanie is the treasurer for Lakeview Baptist Church. She became a member in 1999 when she was married to her husband, Milton.She enjoys serving the Lord “behind the scenes” but is uncomfortable being in front of the curtain! She has worked at Gregg Appraisal district for 30 years and while she likes her job, she is looking forward to retiring soon so she can read, travel and spend time with her family.
Clerk: Carol Staiti
Carol is happily married to Peter and together they have 4 children & 9 grandchildren. She has been a member of Lakeview Baptist Church since 2013.
“As a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, my life goal is to trust & obey. I also enjoy being a member of the praise worship team & occasionally sings solo specials.”
Women's Ministry Leader: Sharon Sharp
Sharon has been a member of Lakeview Baptist Church since the early 70’s. She is married to Edward and together they have 2 sons, Trey and Justin, and 4 grandsons, Max, Jax, Justin Jr, and Dane. She has led the women’s ministry since 2009 and it has been her passion to serve the Lord in this capacity.

Children's Director: Diane Davis
Diane has been happily married to Don since 1984. She has two sons and twin grandchildren. Prior to retiring, Diane owned and operated a child care center. She came to know the Lord at the age of 29 and started working with the children’s ministry teaching toddlers at Lakeview in 1991 and eventually branched out to work with other children’s classes.
“My passion is children. Two of the Bible verses that I hold dear to my heart are Matthew 19:14 where Jesus said ‘Let the little children come to me.’ and Proverbs 22:6 which says to ‘Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.’ ”
VBS Director and Church Servant: Don Davis
Don Davis is a retired engineer who has attended Lakeview Baptist Church since moving to Lake Cherokee in 1982. He and his wife Diane were married in 1984. Don received Christ into his life at the age of 16 and has served in church leadership for many years in various roles including youth leader, youth Sunday school teacher, adult Sunday school teacher, and church maintenance activities. His goal continues to be to serve the Lord by helping Lakeview Baptist to reach out to the area around Lake Cherokee.
Children's Church: Jourdan Aguilar
Jourdan is happily married to Mario and together they have 3 beautiful little ones, Libby (10), Zoey (8), and Zayne (2). She is a longtime resident of Longview, where she attended Longview ISD, and graduated in 2001.
“I’ve always had a special connection with little ones. I love kids and think they are amazing to watch. Seeing them learn, interact, with each other, the way their minds work, their sense of humor, compassion and their honesty, is awesome. I’m honored to be able to teach the kiddos in children’s church about Jesus and plant that seed in their hearts to grow spiritually and help mold them into great adults.”
